2026 Conference Pricing

The Annual Conference is a member-only event.  
  • For current STANYS members: If your membership expires before November 10, 2026, you will need to renew your membership when registering for the conference.
  • For non-members: You will be given the option to join when you are registering for the conference.​
  • For pre-service teachers: Discount pricing will be available for students that are currently enrolled in a science education preparatory program. 
  • Please see the refund policy at the bottom of this page.
  • Registration will include the choice of one subject-area breakfast and dinner on Saturday and Sunday. Additional breakfasts will be available for purchase. No lunches will be provided during the conference. 
  • Special events, such as the Friday Night Event, Pre-Conference offerings, and the Fellows and Past Presidents Reception, will also be available for purchase during registration.

STANYS Annual Conference Publicity Notice

By entering an event or program (whether in-person or online) of the Science Teachers Association of New York State (STANYS), you are entering an area where photography, audio and video live-streaming and/or recording may occur.
Your entry and presence on the event premises constitutes your consent to be photographed, filmed (including live-streamed), and/or otherwise recorded and to the release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction of any and all recorded media of your appearance, voice, and name for any purpose whatsoever in perpetuity in connection with STANYS and its initiatives, including, by way of example only, use on websites, in social media, news and advertising.
By entering the event premises, you waive and release any claims you may have related to the use of such media of you at the event, including, without limitation, any right to inspect or approve the photo, video or audio recording of you, any claims for invasion of privacy, violation of the right of publicity, defamation, and copyright infringement or for any fees for use of such record media.
You understand that all photography, filming (including live-streaming) and/or recording will be done in reliance on this consent. If you do not agree to the foregoing, please do not enter the event premises.

STANYS Annual Conference Refund Policy

Conference Registration Refund Policy:
Conference Registration refunds will be handled in the following manner:
  • For a request made up to three weeks before the Conference (October 18, 2026), the full amount paid minus a $25 administrative fee will be refunded.
  • Requests for full refunds after October 18th will not be granted as we are responsible for all costs associated with your conference registration. Requests for partial refunds due to extenuating circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis. No partial refund will be given without a review of the specific details of the request.
