Lunch Options
Lunch is not provided as part of conference registration. There will be food options available for credit card purchase in Exhibit Hall B during the assigned lunch breaks (e.g. wraps, salads, burgers, pasta and chili). There will be different events in the Exhibit Hall during the lunch breaks, such as vendor demos, vendor raffles, and the Geeky T-Shirt contest. Be sure to check out the conference schedule for more happenings during the lunch break in the Exhibits Hall!
Additionally, you can check out the two restaurants on the ground level of the Marriott or walk next door to the Salt City Market, which boasts many different international food options. Last, within a short walk, you can visit the many different restaurants in the Armory Square! Be sure to check out the Visit Syracuse kiosk in the Oncenter Convention Center for more food and entertainment ideas in the area.

Parking
If you are driving to the conference, there are parking options at both the Marriott and the Oncenter. Additionally, if you are staying at the Crowne Plaza, there is an adjacent parking garage. The daily cost for each of the parking facilities are as follows:
- Oncenter Convention Center: $6 per day
- Marriott Parking: $10 per day (Look for Purple and White Signs NOT the old Hotel Syracuse Parking Garage attached to the hotel)
- Crowne Plaza: Free for hotel guests
Bus Schedule

- 7-8AM: Continuous loop between the Crowne Plaza and Marriott Syracuse Downtown
- 8-9:30AM, 12-1:30PM, 4-6PM, and 9-11PM: Continuous loop between the Crowne Plaza, Oncenter Convention Center, and Marriott Syracuse Downtown (no buses will be available outside of these time frames)
- 7-9:30AM, 11:45AM-1:45PM, 4-6PM, and 9-11PM: Continuous loop between the Crowne Plaza, Oncenter Convention Center, and Marriott Syracuse Downtown (no buses will be available outside of these time frames)
- 7:30-9AM and 11AM-12:30PM: Continuous loop between the Crowne Plaza, Oncnter Convention Center, and Marriott Syracuse Downtown (no buses will be available outside of these time frames)
Hotel Information
- All Conference attendees are responsible for making their own Hotel Reservations.
- Arrangements have been made for special conference room rates with the Marriott Syracuse Downtown and the Crowne Plaza Syracuse.
- Each hotel has a link to a page to access the 2023 STANYS Conference Rates. To view the the individual hotel pages for hotel specific information, see the links below.
- Attendees are strongly encouraged to contact the hotel as soon as possible. There are a limited number of rooms that are available at the "Conference rate" and there is a cutoff date imposed by the hotels (October 3rd). When the room block has been reached or after the deadline, rooms at both locations will likely not be available.
- Both conference hotels are ADA compliant.
UPDATE 10.02.2023: The rooms on Friday at the Crowne Plaza have sold out. There are still a few rooms available on Saturday and Sunday. Please see the instructions below regarding Friday night if you are coming in early. There are a few hotels near the airport (Carrier Circle or North Syracuse) that seem to have availability for Friday night or the weekend based on the links below.
UPDATE 9.29.2023: A few rooms at the Crowne Plaza have opened on Friday night. Once these rooms are gone, attendees should use the information below to find alternative hotels for Friday and/or the weekend.
UPDATE 9.24.2023: The Crowne Plaza still has rooms available for Saturday and Sunday night (sold out Friday night). Use the link below to book, and you must do so by October 3rd. There are hotel rooms available in the Syracuse area for Friday night. We suggest checking hotels.com, travelocity.com, trivago.com, airbnb.com, etc. if you are in need of a Friday night room in Syracuse. To be closer to the action, you can shift to the Crowne Plaza on Saturday! We continue to be overwhelmed by the excitement for the 2023 conference! We will post any updates as we have them.
